The NHL is now laughing at you and your outdated jersey
I guess if you’re struggling to find ways to sell your product, making the box look better is one of the easiest things to do. Of course, I’m sure Gary Bettman was hoping for a Rangers-Red Wings Stanley Cup final to boost national interest in the product instead but, hey, you can’t get everything.
You know what, though? These new designs ain’t too bad! Although I’ve always been partial to the ‘48-’49 logo, hearkening back to the old ‘32-’33 logo looks good too. And the secondary logo with the prowling bear (which was inspired by the ‘24-’25 logo) is awesome. The only way it could have looked better is if he was carrying Serge Savard around in his mouth.
Hmmm…maybe it’s time to formally retire my old Joe Juneau jersey and purchase a new one. Maybe I’ll get Chara inscribed on it. There’s no way an expensive-player-on-a-poor-team-who’s-worth-several- prospects-to-a-Stanley-Cup-contender can get traded in this day and age…can he?

Whoops, wrong post I commented on. Yeah, that bear logo is pretty slick. I wouldn’t mind seeing that come back…with a few adjustments to it!
