Cherepanov and Esposito were passed over by how many other teams? A good number for 2 guys who were supposed to be Top 5 picks. No disappointment here. Hamill's a good smart tough kid who was also ranked very high. I'd rather have those traits than a headcase who can skate fast but doesn't recognize his own goaltender and is prone to pouting and not being motivated. Scott Bradley has been gold while heading up amateur scouting. Why second guess him on this pick?

I can't believe that Esposito fell to the Penguins at #20. The knock on him was that he underperformed without talent around him. That won't be an issue in Pittsburgh. Wow.

Yeah, that was one knock on him, for course you're not mentioning knocks 2-5 on him :-) Lazy, unmotivated, puck hog, one-sided game, potentially concussion-prone...
